US gives blow to China, 60 years later this Tibetan leader gets White House invitation

Washington: Taking a historic step towards Tibet, America invited Central Tibet Administration (CTA) PM Lobsang Sangay to visit the White House for the first time in 60 years. After this, Dr. Sangay reached the White House on Saturday afternoon. It is believed that this decision of the US may provoke the Jinping government of China.

It is noteworthy that America never gave diplomatically attention to the Tibetan government or its leaders. For this reason, the president of the CTA could not enter the US State Department and the White House for the past 6 decades. In today's visit, both the CTA and its political heads agree on the democratic system. Dr. Sangay held a meeting with White House officials on Saturday, although this meeting is not his first.

After becoming President of the CTA in 2011, Dr. Sangay has had secret meetings with White House officials several times in the last 10 years. However, this time he received an invitation to come directly to the White House, which is a sign of a good relationship with America in the future. At the same time, political experts consider it a big shock for China.
