Washington: Actor Joe Lara was also on board the plane that crashed into a lake in Tennessee, USA on Saturday. Seven people on board the plane, including Lara, are feared dead in the accident. Lara played Tarzan in the television serial 'Tarzan' in the nineties. In a statement, Captain John Ingal, fire rescue captain of Rutherford County, said that the search and rescue operation is still going on at Percy Priest Lake near Smirna.
County officials said the seven men have been identified as Brandon Hannah, Gwen S Lara, William J Lara, David L Martin, Jennifer J Martin, Jessica Walters and Jonathan Walters and were all from Brentwood in Tennessee. Their names have been made public after confirmation from the family members. Joe Lara was seen playing Tarzan in the TV serial 'Tarzan: The Epic Adventures'. His wife Gwen S Lara was also present on the plane.
The Federal Aviation Administration had said in a statement that the 'Cessna C501' plane crashed and fell into Percy Priest Lake near Smirna after taking off from Smirna Rutherford County Airport at 11 pm on Saturday. The aircraft was on its way from Smirna Rutherford County Airport to Palm Beach International Airport.
