Washington: American citizens voted to decide who will hold the power of America, one of the world 's largest powers. In this election battle, there is a contest between the President Donald Trump and Democratic Party candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden from the Republican Party. Joe Biden has come close to a majority in the presidential vote counting.

Of the 538 electoral votes, a majority requires 270 votes. According to the news agency Associated Press, Joe Biden got 264 and Trump got 214 electoral votes.
