Washington: The cyclone that hit the U.S. is becoming even scarier. According to the latest update, eight people have been confirmed dead and eight others are said to be missing at a candle factory in Kentucky here. In addition, the cyclone has affected dozens of people. All eight missing people are expected to be skilled. The cyclone has also killed at least six people in Illinois. Here in Edwardsville, one (Amazon Distribution Center affected), 4 in Tennessee, 2 in Arkansas (massive devastation in nursing homes) and 2 people died in Missouri.

Eleven people have been reported killed in and around Bowling Green alone. If we look at the figures so far, nearly 100 people have been killed in the United States. On the other hand, President Joe Biden has termed it as a major tragedy in the history of the US. He said on Sunday that how many people died in the storm could not be precisely said. It is being reported that the Kentucky area suddenly became dark on Saturday. This terrible storm had claimed a lot of lives. Rescue teams are still on the lookout for survivors buried in the debris of buildings due to the storm.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear issued a warning on Sunday itself, saying more than 100 people were feared dead in the storm. We are praying that perhaps the original estimate of what we have lost may prove to be wrong, he said. About 40 people were rescued from the candle factory in Anan Phanan after the storm hit Kentucky the most affected by the cyclone. The storm was so severe that rescuers had to crawl inside the factory for assistance.
