Amid Boycott Brahmastra Trend, Karan Johar says What tomorrow…

After the trends of boycotting Laal Singh Chaddha and Boycott Rakshabandhan, a  new trend started of Boycotting Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra as various people accuse the movie of hurting religious sentiments. Recently Filmmaker Karan Johar indirectly gave his reaction on it.

On the Birthday of Aayan Mukherjee Karan Johar wished him and wrote, “Love is such a strong feeling and emotion… it can be divided and yet felt in abundance… I love you Ayan and feel protective about you as much as i do for my twins….”

Speaking about Aayan’s upcoming project Brahmastra Karan Johar added, “I know the decade(a whole decade) of work you have put into your film BRAHMASTRA … I have never seen anyone dedicate most of their professional lives to one project the way you have … What tomorrow or rather the 9th of September holds for us we can’t predict at this moment! But your commitment and hard work is already a victory! You just fly! Just soar! Just keep aiming high! Dreams are a reality if you truly believe them and I know you do! Your dream is your labor of love the world will see soon! Love you my child! And oh ya! Happy birthday!!!!!,”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt also shared pictures from the sets of Brahmastra along with a sweet note. “Happy birthday my wonder-Astra. You amaze me every day! I love you so much,". Neetu Kapoor also shared a happy selfie with the filmmaker and wrote, “Happy birthday @ayan_mukerji love n hugs."

Various people calls for a ‘boycott Brahmastra’ and accused Ranbir Kapoor of hurting sentiments. In Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Shiva, the Agni Astra in India’s own cinematic universe-the Astraverse. Alia Bhatt stars as his love interest, Isha. It also has Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. In the movie, they tried to link the characters with Hindu Ideals.

Speaking about Brahmastra, It is produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
