On Saturday, a worker died as dismantling a panel at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's swearing-in ceremony venue, Red Road. The worker has been recognized as Gautam Haldar, a local of Baruipur. He was organized for assembled the panels when he lost balance and fell from the height.
He was instantly hurried to the SSKM hospital where he was affirmed brought dead.
Other workers allege that, “they were questioned to dismantle the structure fast so that the busy Red Road could be opened for traffic movement.”
"While assembling the provisional structure of the dais on Red Road, one of the workers of Modern Decorator namely Goutam Haldar, aged 40 years, of Baruipur somehow fell down from the stage.” added
“Haldar was was declared brought dead to the hospital” said senior official of Kolkata
