New Delhi: The transition to Omicron, a new and dangerous variant of the corona, is spreading rapidly in the country's capital, Delhi. CM Arvind Kejriwal had convened a high-level meeting today i.e. The meeting will discuss the third wave of corona and preparations to prevent the growing infection of Omicron. Apart from this, strengthening the isolation system of patients was also discussed in the meeting. However, CM Kejriwal will hold a press conference at 4 pm to give details about the meeting.

The meeting was attended by CM Arvind Kejriwal, deputy CM Manish Sisodia, several health department officials and concerned ministers. The meeting deliberated on strengthening the government system on home isolation and how to submit a corona report in less than 24 hours. The meeting also asked that the patient be immediately isolated after a corona test. The meeting also discussed the preparation of a home isolation system for 1 lakh corona patients.

In the past few days, corona cases in the capital have crossed 100 daily, with 15,000 to 16,000 medical staff instructed to be prepared to deal with emergencies. At the same time, Kejriwal has ordered the health department to increase the one-month stock of medicines required for corona.
