New Delhi (India) July 31(NT): As Uproar emerged in Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha after BJP President Amit Shah said that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi inked  Assam accord in 1985, which was similar to NRC draft which was released earlier a day means Monday.

However, He not found the chance to present his party views on most heated NRC  issues so he held the press meet and echoing similar sentiments like Union home minister Rajnath Singh saying that It is just the draft, not the final document.

He further alleged that the grand old party Congress did not have the courage to implement it, while Bhartiya Janta Party showed the courage to do this.

Addressing the Press meet he said, "I heard many parties speak in the house (Rajya Sabha) but surprisingly none of them mentioned that this is just a draft list that this is not the final list", BJP President Amit Shah asserted on NRC Assam issue.

Shah on supporting the released NRC draft, said, " By encouraging infiltrators, how can we ensure security at the borders and internal security of the nation? I firmly believe NRC Assam is for the security of the country. We will fully implement SC's judgement on it".

Amit Shah appealed the opposition parties Congress, TMC and other parties who are speaking against NRC Assam issue should clear their stand on Bangladeshi infiltrators.

He also noted that the people of Assam were just asked to prove that they are the citizens of India and showing their identity card such as Adhar.

Worth mentioning here there is the uproar in all over India on the issue of  NRC Assam so far BSP leader Mayawati and West Bengal CM  Mamta Banerji lashed out the PM Modi led Center Government over NRC Assam issue and 6 MPS of TMC are set to go Assam for taking the cognizance of the issue.
