Amit Shah chairs high-level meet with officials to talk over security state of affairs

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday held a meeting with National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and Intelligence Bureau chief Arvind Kumar at the North Block office. The meeting, which took place on the issue of security, continued for about 3 hours. The meeting was also attended by CRPF chief Kuldeep Singh and BSF Director General Pankaj Singh. 

The level meeting in New Delhi also discussed the overall security situation across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir and anti-drone strategy. In the meeting, Shah reviewed the internal security concerns and discussed the roadmap for the upcoming likely challenges as well as current killings in J&K, said sources privy to the development.

According to Home Ministry officials, it was a regular overall security meeting, where the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Director Intelligence Bureau Arvind Kumar, BSF Director General Pankaj Singh, Central Reserve Police Force Chief Kuldiep Singh and other Home Ministry officials participated.
