New Delhi: In Modi government 2.0, Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday assured Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind's delegation on the issue of implementing NRC across the country that the government's objective is not to disturb the minorities and it will be ensured that no person should get wrapped on religious grounds.

According to India TV News.com, the delegation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and Jamiat Ahle-Hadith Hind met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah at his residence on Saturday. During this meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah told the delegation members that the government is "willing to talk openly with all Muslim organizations." According to the statement issued by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, The general secretary of the organization Maulana Mahmood Madni told Shah that even though we have differences with the government on many things, but where the country is of interest, we have stood firmly with the country.

Maulana Mahmood Madni said, "Therefore, our management committee has clearly stated in the proposal on the subject of Kashmir that both Kashmir and Kashmiri belong to us. We cannot separate them and Indian Muslims are against all forms of separatism. ''
