New Delhi: After the creation of assembly in Haryana, Dushyant Chautala's newly formed Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) has emerged as a kingmaker. However, with 40 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the maximum number of 40 seats. Congress has won 31 seats and JJP 10 seats. Other candidates have got 9 seats.

In the midst of the election results, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, on behalf of the Congress, appealed that all the opposition parties should form a government with the Congress to stop the BJP. JJP leader Dushyant Chautala met BJP National President Amit Shah late last night, according to sources, amid the constantly changing political equation and politics in the state of Haryana. Since then, speculations are being made that the incumbent Chautala may get an important post in the BJP government.

Sources also say that 5 independent MLAs, including Independent MLA Gopal Kanda of Sirsa, can also support BJP. Meanwhile, Dushyant Chautala has said that 10 of our MLAs are meeting in Delhi on Friday. In Haryana, the ruling BJP has captured 40 seats under the leadership of CM Manohar Lal Khattar, but the party has failed to touch the magic figure of majority in the 90-member assembly.
