New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said on the BJP's 42nd foundation day that the BJP's yatra has been about national service. He said the party has worked to fulfil the aspirations of the poor, farmers, Dalits and underprivileged women who have suffered neglect for 70 years. In fact, the Home Minister on Wednesday made a series of tweets on the occasion of the BJP's 42nd foundation day.
In a tweet, Shah wrote, "Salutations to all the great men who made the BJP a banyan tree by burning themselves on the 42nd foundation day of the BJP. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi Ji and under the leadership of JP Nadda Ji, the BJP is moving towards the welfare of the nation with a continuous sense of service. I wish all the workers a very happy foundation day." He further said ''This 42-year journey of the BJP has been a journey of service to the nation, to the upliftment and to national reconstruction. And since 2014, under the leadership of Narendra Modi Ji, the BJP has become a means of fulfilling the aspirations of crores of poor, farmers, deprived and women of a country deprived for seven decades.''
In another tweet, he wrote, "Before 2014, two-time meal for the poor was also a big struggle. After Narendra Modi Ji became the PM, the BJP government worked to give the poor a safe and dignified life by providing them with houses, electricity, gas, toilets, bank accounts and health insurance as well as free ration.''
