New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has rejected Shiv Sena's claim that there was the talk of any formula like 50-50 for the formation of power. Amit Shah said, 'Before the elections, PM Narendra Modi and I had publicly said many times that if the coalition wins, Devendra Fadnavis will be the CM. Nobody objected. Shah said that some of Shiv Sena's demands were such that they could not be accepted.

Amit Shah defended the Governor's move. He said that the Governor has made no attempt to twist the constitution at all. Amit Shah said that the NCP had expressed its inability to send a letter between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm, that we cannot form the government till 8:30 pm today. After this, there is no need to stop. Shah said that there was no haste in this matter.
