Chandigarh: BJP chief Amit Shah took a Congress leader dig at the Randeep Surjewala on his massive defeat  in Jind election. Kaithal MLA managed to win just 22,740 votes against the 50,566 secured by the winning BJP candidate Krishan Lal Middha.

Amit Shah saod that the victory in Jind election is the victory of peoples trust in develop and public welfare work of SM manihar Lal Khattar.

 

This is the first time the BJP has won the Jind Assembly seat. With this victory, saffron party hardened its grip on Haryana politics just prior to the Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections. Middha, a non-Jat candidate, has tenure of just nine months before the next Assembly Elections.

Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi too tweeted and said: "I thank the people of Jind for blessing @BJP4Haryana. This is a seat where the Party has never won before. Glad to see the development agenda of BJP finding support among all sections of society. I congratulate the Haryana BJP and CM @mlkhattar for assiduously serving the people."

On this victory , Middha that everyone for the suuport . He wrote, "I would like to thank everyone who supported the party and me. It's their victory. There were big leaders in the contest as well, but we have defeated them too. We will follow the schemes launched by PM and take them forward."
