New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today flagged off the 'Modi Van' under the 'Seva Hi Sangathan' programme today i.e. 20 years have passed in PM Modi's government and it is on this occasion that the BJP has launched this mission. Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister for the first time on October 7, 2001. On the other hand, if we talk about the Modi Van, it will be operated by the Kosambi Development Council, and it is being run by BJP National Secretary Vinod Sonkar. Talking to a well-known website, Sonkar said, "Five Modi Vans will be operated in five assembly segments of Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. There is a control office for the Van. It will be operated from these control offices.''

What's special about Modi Van- The Van has a 32-inch television and a high-speed internet service through which PM Modi's monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat' will be telecast. At the same time, public meetings and speeches of leaders will also be broadcast. The Van will also include telemedicine. The Van is fitted with a machine that can test 39 blood samples at a time. The Van will also issue a weekly medical bulletin and will pledge to make the villagers clean and plastic-free. People will also be made aware through the same Van for water conservation and cleaning of river ponds in the village.

The Modi Van is said to help promote vaccination against Covid-19 in a remote village. In fact, the machines in the Van can provide prescriptions to the villagers with the help of telemedicine and party-appointed health volunteers in remote villages. At the same time, the Van will help in the registration of labourers and people from different walks of life under several schemes of the Centre. In addition, Van will help in 100 per cent registration under widow pension, disability pension and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and also inform the villagers about government schemes.
