The MPs of the opposition parties started a fierce uproar in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha over the Delhi violence. After the uproar, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha have been postponed till 12:30 pm, while the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha have been stopped till 2 pm.

Earlier, in the initial week of Parliament session commenced from March 2, the work has been reduced to zero. With the demand for an immediate discussion on Delhi violence, the opposition created a ruckus and came to such an extent that seven members of the Congress had to be suspended from the Lok Sabha. The government had announced to discuss Delhi violence on 11 March today.
