New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on March 10 dedicated to Ahmedabad smart schools, a senior citizen park, a pedestrian subway, Anganwadis and an overbridge to Ahmedabad among a range of development works completed at a cost of Rs 154.05 crore.
Shah virtually inaugurated these construction projects finished by Ahmedabad Urban Development and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) open.
The Home Minister commended AMC, AUDA, and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel's government for the inauguration of various projects worth Rs 154.05 crore in a statement following the e-inauguration of these projects by video conferencing.
At Ahmedabad's Chandkheda, Sabarmati, Shela, Thaltej, and Sarkhej regions, Shah dedicated modern schools that cost Rs 7.38 crore to construct.
In addition to this, the Home Minister also dedicated a senior citizens park at Chandkheda and Nawadaj that cost Rs 62 lakhs and a pedestrian subway near the Ahmedabad-Viramgam Broad gauge railway that cost Rs 4.39 crore.
The Prime Minister also opened five Anganwadis, which cost Rs 40 lakh each, and an overbridge at Sanathal Junction, which cost Rs 97 crore altogether.
