New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is going to interact with farmers from 6 states through video conference today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be at a cow shelter in the national capital. The Home Minister will listen to PM Modi's address from this cow shelter in Kishangarh, Mehrauli. PM Narendra Modi will release the next instalment of financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) today.
On this occasion, PM Modi will transfer over Rs 18,000 crore to the accounts of over 9 crore beneficiary farmer households. During the event to be held through video conference, PM Modi will also interact with farmers from 6 states and share his experiences on Kisan Samman Nidhi and other initiatives taken by the government for the welfare of farmers.
BJP President J P Nadda had already instructed BJP leaders to participate in the event. According to the information, Nitin Gadkari will listen to this dialogue with farmers in Assam. Piyush Goyal will be present from Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. Smriti Irani will be in her parliamentary constituency Amethi and Dharmendra Pradhan will be present from Odisha. Similarly, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from Jaisalmer, Ravi Shankar Prasad from Patna and VK Singh from Ghaziabad will listen to PM Modi's interaction with farmers.
