Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is working on Shujit Sarkar's upcoming film "Gulabo Sitabo" these days. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan has conducted rescue operations at Vangani, 90 km from Mumbai, to evacuate passengers from the flood-watered Mahalakshmi Express, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Indian Railways, Indian Air Force, Navy and Maharashtra Administration. Has also been fiercely appreciated.

Describing the campaign as a daring task, Big B said on Twitter, "Congratulations to NDRF for the safe rescue of more than 700 passengers of Mahalakshmi Express by conducting rescue operations. The NDRF, Navy, Air Force, Railways and State Administration have done their best. It was a brave and successful mission. We are proud. Jai Hind."

According to information, it has proved to be the biggest relief and rescue operation in the state since the July 26, 2005 floods, with three to five feet of water, saving more than 1,200 lives and evacuating all passengers safely. The campaign has been finished on Saturday. Notably, no one was injured in the rescue operation.
