When he met a contestant from Bhopal, Amitabh Bachchan couldn't help but mention his connection to the city. Amitabh said, "hum waha ke jamai raja hain (I am a son-in-law of the city)," in response to contestant Dipesh Jain stating that he is from Bhopal. His actress wife Jaya Bachchan, formerly Jaya Bhaduri, is a Bhopal native.

Sony recently released a new advertisement featuring Dipesh Jain reciting a poem about using the theme from Kaun Banega Crorepati as his phone's ringtone. Although he admitted that some people used to make fun of his ringtone selection, he was confident that one day he would have a chance to appear on the quiz show.

Sony posted the advertisement with the following caption: "Aapko apne makaam tak pahunchne se koi nahin rok sakta, #DipeshJain ji aapke bheetar ye hausla barqaraar rakhiyega! (Dipesh Jain, never lose this courage; no one can prevent you from reaching your goal.)"

In addition to the show, Amitabh Bachchan recently experienced the Goodbye film's premiere. In the movie, which served as Rashmika Mandanna's Bollywood debut, he has a leading role opposite Neena Gupta. Additionally, he played a crucial part in the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt movie Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.
