Season 14 of the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati kicked off with a bang, and the first episode was dedicated to the real "Protectors of India" and to those who have brought respect to their nation on a global level. Numerous talented individuals fought against one another for the opportunity to host the second episode and take part in the quiz alongside Amitabh Bachchan, the show's megastar.


Among these intelligent individuals, Dulichand Agrawal from Durg, Chattisgarh, was the first contestant to sit in the hot seat. The contestant is then given an explanation of the game's rules by Big B, who also informs him that the makers have increased the price from 7 crore to 7.5 crore in honour of India's 75th Independence Day. Between 50 lakh and 1 crore, they have also added another 75 lakh in prize money. The test then starts, and Dulichand aced it, answering every question with incredible accuracy. Big B continues by revealing an interesting fact related to a question.

Amitabh Bachchan then shows an image on the screen of two people playing chess. After closely looking at the picture shown on the screen, Dulichand is able to give the right answer. He then decided the C option and wins the 7th level which is Rs. 40,000. After this, the host then remembers his part of contibution to the film 'Shatranj Ke Khilari', which was a 1997 super hit Bollywood film directed by the greatest auteur of Indian cinema, Satyajit Ray. The host then shares that he had narrated this iconic film. 


For the not versed, the debut episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 was graced by The 'Protectors of India'. Joining them was Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist actor Aamir Khan. The 'Protectors of India,' Major D.P. Singh, a veteran of the Kargil War, and Col. Mitali Madhumita, a recipient of the Sena Medal Gallantry, were seen seated on the hot seat chance by chance with actor Aamir Khan. The guests also said that they would be donating their winning amount to Army Central Welfare. Kaun Banega Crorepati airs Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
