There are many film stars who after gaining success in the industry, try their luck in Indian political world. Although, the probablity of their success is not at all sure in Politics. However, there are some famous faces who were able to make their name in the field. And the one such leader was Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
She started her career from acting in movies and acted in almost 140 Bollywood films. After which, she came in politics and became one of the famous personality of B-town. Though, she faced lot of challenges during her journey.
As a chief minister, she was liked by everyone and was given the love and respect, that no other leader ever got. The work she did for the development of people will always be remembered by them. However, she was accussed for the corruption but, it never made any difference on her Known image.
Amma was born in year 1948 in Mysore but lost her father at very early age. She was introduced in politics by MG Ramachandra. When he died, she took the full responsibilty of AIADMK on her shoulders and did amazing work for the welfare of the citizens. For poor and needy, she launched various schemes like Amma canteen, Amma Baby Kit and many other initiatives.
Though we lost the great Minister, but she will always remain in our memory for lifetime.
