Amritsar: Parneet Kaur, MP from Patiala Lok Sabha seat and wife of Punjab CM Amarinder Singh, conducted a plastic cleaning drive in her parliamentary constituency on Saturday. On Saturday, Parneet Kaur suddenly fainted during the cleanup operation. Parneet Kaur had gone to Patiala to give a green signal to the Swachh Sdansdan Campaign to clean the plastic. Meanwhile, suddenly 75-year-old Parneet Kaur fainted and fall on the ground.

A doctor said her blood pressure was examined which was found to be correct. The doctor said that Parneet Kaur is perfectly fine now. Parneet Kaur tweeted that he has successfully launched the Swachh Sdandan Kardan Abhiyan under the Punjab Pollution Control Board. In a tweet, he wrote, "Under this initiative, we are making Patiala polythene-free. I urge all of you to join this campaign and cooperate in cleaning up the environment around us," he said.

Earlier, Parneet Kaur, wife of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and MP from Patiala, was injured during the Congress Working Committee meeting. He was then taken to the hospital for treatment. The doctors then instructed Parneet Kaur to stay away from public meetings and rest for 10 days.
