Mumbai: Mumbai has been in the prematured monsoon phase. The situation in Mumbai has worsened in the first rain. The BMC had claimed here that Mumbai would not sink after cleaning the drain but now the same claim of the BMC has proved to be hollow. Amidst all this, BJP and MNS have started targeting Shiv Sena-dominated BMC. Those who had somehow left their homes in the morning in Mumbai's first rain did not get buses for several hours when they left home in the evening. Not only that, people in Wadala were stuck in traffic for nearly six hours.

The first rain has flooded places preventing trains from moving forward. Now, leader of opposition Devendra Fadnavis's wife Amruta Fadnavis has tweeted. She tweeted and wrote a shayari. In this shayari, she has taken a dig at the Shiv Sena. In fact, the Mumbai Municipal Corporation is occupied by the Shiv Sena. Amrita Fadnavis wrote, "Jo Muh tak us rahi thi,Ab lipti hai paon mein, Baarish kya hui mitti ki fitrat badal gai."
Meanwhile, BJP leaders have started saying in view of the situation in Mumbai that "the way water is full in Mumbai, it can be said that there has been hand cleaning in the name of cleaning drains in Mumbai. After Mumbai's first rain, leader of opposition in the Legislative Council Praveen Darekar took to the streets in Hindmata area at 5.30 pm and said, "There is no plan, no will power. Every year, then the same is the case". On the other hand, heavy rain alert is again sounded in Mumbai today.
