Jammu: A high-level court of inquiry is being held in connection with the encounter on July 18 in Emsipora area of Shopian district in south Kashmir. Statements of key witnesses have been recorded. With which progress in the investigation is being closely monitored. This thing has been said in a statement issued by the army. The Srinagar-based army spokesman issued a statement saying that the statements of key witnesses in the said case are being recorded. DNA samples have been collected from Rajori under the supervision of Jammu and Kashmir Police which has been sent to Milan with the terrorists killed on 18 July 2020. He informed that the Indian Army has been committed to the ethical conduct of all counter-terrorist operations. Cases where suspicion is being done. According to the law, the investigation is done under due process. Since the case is still being investigated, further details will be shared periodically without affecting the proper legal process.

3 youths who went to Shopian in Kashmir from 2 villages of Kotori area of Rajori have gone missing. The report of the disappearance of a young man's father has been lodged in the police post located in the victim. The father of the young man is accused that in the encounter that took place in Shopian on July 18, his son is also one of the young men killed.

According to the information received, Abrar Ahmed son Bagga Khan of Dhar Sakri of Kotranka, Imtiaz Ahmed son Sabar Hussain, and Abrar Ahmed son Mohammad Yusuf resident of Tarakassi went to the Kashmir Valley on July 16 for wages. On July 17, he was called upon reaching Shopian. After which, when he did not get any phone for two days, the family is trying to contact him but all three mobile switches were off.
