New Delhi: A woman was kidnapped and gang-raped on January 26 in Kasturba Nagar area of ​​Vivek Vihar in East Delhi. On Tuesday, the Delhi Police had sealed all the roads leading to the woman's house. Even after this, at around 11 pm on Monday night, 100-150 Nihang Sikhs from Punjab reached Kasturba Nagar, where they presented a sword to the victim. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and returned the Nihangs. At the same time, on social media, the matter is being given a religious color by saying that the victim woman is a Sikh.

Satyasundaram himself was posted in the Vivek Vihar area and in view of the situation, the police blocked the entire Kasturba Nagar area and imposed Section-144 there. At the same time, senior police officers of the district are refusing to impose Section-144.

The accused have been booked under sections of gang rape, physical assault, sexual assault and criminal conspiracy. According to the report, in November 2021, a minor boy from the family of the accused party committed suicide after failing to unilaterally love the victim. The assault on the victim and the act done to her was done to avenge the same. A total of 11 accused have been arrested in this entire incident so far. In which 9 women are also included. Two minors are also among the arrested accused. The age of the victim is said to be around 20 years.
