Peak-hour commuters at Bhyandar station were left stunned last week when an unidentified man jumped onto the tracks and was instantly killed by an approaching train. The incident, which took place on July 10, was caught on CCTV camera.

Reportedly, the deceased body is still unidentified by GRP. The man, thought to be in his 30s, jumped in front of a Churchgatebound train at Bhayandar station, as the train coming from Naigaon entered the station. CCTV footage shows the man - dressed in a pink shirt and jeans patiently waiting for the train with other passengers on Platform 6.

However, as soon as the train could be seen entering the platform, he jumped onto the tracks and was killed instantly. His body was retrieved from under the train wheels. Apart from his cellphone and some cash, he had nothing on him at the time of the incident.
