An FIR filed by journalists against '2.0' has been withdrawn after the apology of director

A day ago, the crew members of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 attacked two photojournalists on the set. The incident happened when the journalists asked the crew to tell the reason for blocking a road in Thiruvallikeni or Triplicane, a place nearby Chennai.

Following the attack, a complaint has been filed against the film's production manager, their bouncer and the director S Shankar's as well.

A senior officer of Chennai police was quoted saying, "We are investigating. We would make arrests if it warrants."

However as per development, The director Shankar has made an apology. Shankar said, "I am sorry. I shall ensure incidents like this don't repeat. It has happened without my knowledge."

Also, the journalists have finally withdrawn their FIR post the director’s apology.
