Starbucks is one of the most popular and top most cafe for coffee around the globe. This is one such entity that dominates the mind of almost every caffeine lovers in the world and more so in China. The big news is that now China is the proud owner of biggest Starbucks cafe in the world. This 30,000-sq ft store was inaugurated in Shanghai on Tuesday, and it is also the first Starbucks Reserve Roastery, which is company's new retail offering outside the US.
China already has more than 3000 stores and is adding more to it. The growth of this boutique coffee shop in various parts of the world shows how coffee is driving the world’s population and is giving birth to more and more competition. At a Shanghai launch event recently, Starbucks executive chairman Howard Schultz said that the number of stores in China would cross 10,000 within 10 years’ time.

Let me tell you that Shanghai already has more than 600 Starbucks cafes, which is more than any city on the planet, while China as a whole has around 3000 Starbucks cafes.
You will be amazed to know that every 15 minutes, there’s a new store opening in the country at an alarming rate. It means that in 10 years time, China will leave behind the U.S. There are four entrances to the cafe and each one features enormous wooden doors, almost a foot thick. Quite interestingly, these doors are sculpted with a roasted coffee bean and are hydraulically-activated. Now we will talk about some infrastructure covering the ceiling of the store are the 10,000 hand-made tiles that Chinese craftsmen prepared from American walnut. The stores will remain open from 7 AM to 1 AM every day. Also, this is the only Starbucks in China to serve alcoholic beverages including beer and wine. Food would also lead the menu apart from coffee, tea and spirits. There would be some amazing and new flavours such as smoked butterscotch latte, chilled vanilla-bean breve, heavenly cakes, and mouth-watering cookies.
