Entrepreneur Yik Chan has set up multiple businesses worldwide, that too at a very young age of 27. Not just that— apart from being an owner of 4 different companies, he is a motivational speaker. On his growing e-commerce business, which has done over 5 Million USD in sales, he says his method for an e-commerce business is analyzing the market and products instead of using logic to decide what product will be liked by the masses.
Also the founder of the YNC Entrepreneurs Club and the YNC Academy, Yik aims to uplift the lives of nearly 1 million people through teaching business and spiritual study. "If you are not able to make money, it is because you are trying to use your logic to analyze the products based on your feeling, please react on data. Always react to the data that you have collected. This data represents the market and the market keeps changing", says Yik on his e-commerce business, spread across the globe.
Yik started his entrepreneurial journey in the second year of University, where he was pursuing a degree in Food and Nutritional Science. His journey as an e-commerce entrepreneur began as his second business venture. He hired his first Virtual Assistant at $20 USD per hour and paid her to fly from the Philippines to Hong Kong. After a few months, Yik decided to visit the Philippines, to her workplace and decide to invest in her VA business. Today, they have a decent office with over 20 staff.
About his e-commerce business he says, "If you are able to have a strong purpose in your company, not only serving your customer the right way but also treat your staff as your family members, your business will grow". No doubt his idea of analyzing market data and products and an attitude to serve his staff as well as customers has led him to where he is today.
