Lucknow: Anandi Ben Patel was sworn in as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Former Governor Ram Naik was also present at the function. Former Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel was sworn in as governor of UP on Monday by Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Govind Mathur. Earlier on Sunday, former UP Governor Ram Naik had said that I have received a 7-day bonus for his stay in office.

Ram Naik had said that my term was coming to an end on July 22. There has been a conservative tradition that the old governor would leave Lucknow before the governor arrived. The way the president's swearing-in ceremony takes place, that kind of process we have tried to start. Ram Naik said, "I will leave only after welcoming Anandiben Patel. He said, "I have had a lot of engagement with the people of Uttar Pradesh. We will always cooperate to make Uttar Pradesh a perfect state.

As per the order issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan on July 20, new Governors have been appointed in six states including UP and Bihar. According to this, Anandiben Patel, the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, has been entrusted with the responsibility of the UP Governor.
