Titli Cyclone: Andhra CM asks PM Modi for Rs 1,200 crore relief

The Cyclone Titli has proved a huge trouble for the Indian states mainly to Andhra Pradesh and orrisa. It has killed 13 people so far – four in Odisha, eight in Andhra Pradesh and one in West Bengal.. The Titli has devastated Andhra Pradesh and has damage to properties, infrastructure, agriculture and horticulture crops. Now, Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking an interim relief.

CM Chandrababu Naidu has conducted the aerial survey to saw the impact of cyclone and current situation of the state. The CM wrote a letter in which he turned the attention of PM towards the cyclone and asked for the financial help. In a letter he wrote the cyclone Titli has devastated the Srikakulam and Vizianagaram and has left huge damage to property. Further conveying information about harm he wrote It  roughly 2800 crore rupees to be the estimated worth of the damages incurred. 

In the letter, the CM further asked for relief measures from the central government has sought Rs 1200 crores as interim relief in order to minimize the misery of the people .

Meanwhile, state government has announced Rs 5 lakhs compensation to each family which lost members in the cyclone.
