Amravati (Andhra Pradesh): Recently, due to heavy rains in the upper areas, Godavari river has come in a raging form. By 6 pm on Sunday, 15,28, 632 cusecs of water has reached the Dhavalveswaram barrage in Rajahmundry. Yes, due to this, the authorities have started warning number two. In view of the increasing floods at present, 5,500 cusecs of water has been released to the delta canal.

At the same time, work is going on to release the remaining water into the sea. It is being said that if the flood continues like this, then it will not take long to issue a warning for the third number. On the one hand, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has issued instructions to the authorities to be vigilant and take all necessary steps in view of the rising flood in the Godavari river. It is being told that the Chief Minister has also issued orders to expel the officials from the lower areas. Apart from this, instructions have been issued to remain on high alert in East Godavari and West Godavari districts. At the same time, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told the officials, 'Set up relief camps and take people from low-lying areas to safe places.'

Apart from this, it has also been said that to deal with emergencies, get in touch with the teams of NDRF. The works of relief and rehabilitation centers should be completed as soon as possible. With this, the Chief Minister of Dhavalveswaram Barrage located in Lalaub Rajahmundry also took information about the flood situation in Krishna district. During this, the officials also told the CM that efforts are on to take necessary steps.
