Amid a nationwide lockdown, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched an interest-free loan scheme for women self-help groups (SHGs) in the state. Eluru MP Kotagiri Sridhar said on Friday that the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government has fulfilled most of its promises made in the manifesto along with the schemes. Now with the introduction of interest free loan scheme, attention is being paid to the welfare of women.

In his statement, he said, 'In this difficult time of the coronavirus, we are able to help women who need help. They have not been going to work for the last one month due to the lockdown. Our Chief Minister recognized the need to help the people. It is a time of crisis.

For your information, let us tell you that before that, on Friday, the Chief Minister directed the officials to monitor the ground situation in the hotspot ries, strengthen the telemedicine system and high with other diseases, besides providing essential commodities across the state. Ensure medical care to at-risk patients.
