Andhra people do not want any early elections: Nara Lokesh

Nara Lokesh, the general Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) recently asserted that the people of Andhra Pradesh do not want the elections to be preponed in the state. Since past few weeks, the rumours about early elections have filled the air.

N Chandrababu Naidu, who is the leader of the TDP leader the Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh took authority of the state in June 2014 He allegedly has asked his party members to prepare themselves for early elections. Meanwhile, according to Lokesh, the people of Andhra Pradesh do not look forward to any early elections.

On Tuesday, during interaction with the media after the MoU program with electronics giant Flextronics, he said, "Andhra Pradesh people don't want earlier elections. They want TDP to rule the state for full five years."

Lokesh further added that he has no issues contesting the elections from any constituency. He affirmed, "I am ready to contest from any corner of the state. I will definitely take part in direct elections."

Recently there was news hat Andhra Pradesh may very soon conduct elections which were scheduled for later. Now reports suggest that a lot of leaders have opposed the idea of early elections.
