Apart from corona, many shocking news are coming out of the country. In a statement, Mining and Geology Minister PRC Reddy said that an inquiry committee has been constituted to probe the incident and the Joint Collector (Revenue) of Kadapa city will be the head.

Quoting the preliminary report submitted by the Kadapa district collector, the Mining Minister said that the mining operator was negligent while unloading the explosives, which led to the blast. He said additional compensation will be given to the families affected by the mining operator under the Labour Act.

In fact, 10 workers were killed in an explosion at a limestone mine in Kadapa city of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. Kadapa district superintendent of police K Amburajan told PTI-Bhasha on mobile that the incident took place when a consignment of gelatin sticks was being unloaded at a limestone mine outside Mamillapalli village. According to the Police Inspector Mohan of Porumamilla, only 6 of the 10 persons killed in the blast have been identified.
