Visakhapatnam: In a major decision, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has announced that the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 2,000 to every poor person who has completed quarantine in government facilities. If the coronavirus test is negative after completing quarantine, then after quarantine, every poor person will be given Rs 2000 so that he can buy nutritious food.

In a review meeting on the Corona epidemic, officials informed Chief Minister Jaganmohan that the government is spending Rs 500 per person for food, bed and blankets, Rs 50 for sanitation and Rs 300 for transportation. More than 5000 people were staying in various quarantine centres in the state. Andhra government is also insisting on doing 4000 tests daily.

So far, more than 2,100 tests are being conducted daily in the state. During the survey of families in the state, 32,000 people have been identified, they will also be tested soon. As of Thursday morning, 534 corona positive cases have been reported in the state, while 20 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. Apart from this, 14 people have died during treatment due to corona infection in the state.
