Andhra Pradesh: Eleven-month-old girl dies after TV collapses in Krishna district

On Saturday, an 11-month-old girl died after a TV set collapsed in Kanchala village of Nandigama mandal of Krishna district. According to the information received, Chalmala Kirti (11 months), daughter of Nageshwar Rao and Soundarya of the village, was playing in the house. While playing he touched the TV stand and the TV fell on the child and the child was seriously injured. And the child died before reaching the hospital. A week later it was the child's first birthday.

In Andhra Pradesh, 1,502 fresh cases of Kovid-19, 1,525 have been cured and 16 people have died. The state's Covid-19 chart so far showed a total of 20,19,702 positives, 19,90,916 recoveries and 13,903 deaths. The health department's bulletin said the number of active cases is 14,883. SPS Nellore district recorded 260 fresh cases, Chittoor 208, East Godavari 191, Prakasam 152, West Godavari 146, Guntur 143, Krishna 129 and Cuddapah 113 the highest in 24 hours.

The remaining five districts each reported less than 70 new cases. Four fresh deaths were reported in Chittoor, three each in Krishna and West Godavari, two each in East Godavari and Guntur, one each in Kurnool and Prakasam.
