Corona infection has not stopped yet and cases report daily. In Andhra Pradesh, Covid crossed 7.5 lakh symptoms with 5,653 new infections on Saturday, with 6,659 patients recovering from the virus. With new additions, the southern state has risen to 7,50,517 cases.

According to Fersh reporting in Andhra Pradesh, 823 cases were reported on Saturday in West Godavari, followed by Chittoor and East Godavari (706), Prakasam (538), Kadapa (504) and Guntur (470). When new cases were added, The number of Chittoor is only 400 cases 70,000 and Guntur 600 cases are less than 60,000. In the past 24 hours, another 34 patients have been affected by the virus, with the number of Covid epidemics across the state rising to 6,194. Prakasam recorded the highest deaths, 6 after Chittoor (5), East Godavari and Krishna (4 per), Nellore and Visakhapatnam (3 each), Anantapur, Guntur, Kurnool and West Godavari (2 each) and Kadapa and Srikakulam (1) each).

Meanwhile, the positive trend of recoveries continues with 6,659 recoveries in Andhra Pradesh. Total recovery has increased to 6.9 lakhs. Out of 7.5 lakh cases, currently active cases are at 46,624, despite the state completing 64.9 lakh Covid tests. On Saturday, Andhra Pradesh tested 73,625 samples for Covid at a 11.56 per cent positivity rate.
