Visakhapatnam: People had not yet forgotten the gas leak incident in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, that another gas leak incident has come to light in the state. Ammonia gas has leaked in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. One employee has died in this accident and three people are said to be injured. The injured have been immediately admitted to the nearest hospital.

This incident is from SPY Agros Factory and it is a company of Nandi Group. Giving information about the accident, the Collector of Kurnool has told that, 'Today, a gas leak has happened in SPY Agros Company in Nandyal. The 50-year-old employee lost his life in this accident. The gas leak has happened in the company and there is no risk to anyone outside. Not to worry. As soon as the incident was reported, our team reached the spot and ensured security measures.

On May 7, about 800 tonnes of dangerous styrene gas was leaked from a plant at Vizag of LG Polymers. Due to this, 12 people lost their lives and 3,000 people had to admit to hospitals in critical condition. The leak occurred from a tank that was very old, did not have a temperature monitoring gauge or sprinkler system.
