The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, under YSR Pension Kanuka, is giving pension to the elderly, widows, disabled, dialysis patients and other old patients. Under the aegis of Village and Ward Secretariat on the first of every month. About 95% of people get pension at home every month. The government has given good news to the beneficiaries of Pension Kanuka.
Beneficiaries who are living away from their hometowns and are losing their pension, it has been decided to take pension from anywhere in the state. The State Rural Poverty Alleviation Program (SERP) has issued instructions to this effect. The officials also said that the beneficiaries would be mapped by the volunteer of the village/ward in the secretariat where the beneficiaries reside.
The SERP CEO directed the DRDA project officers to immediately implement the guidelines on pension portability and orders to this effect have been issued to all the offices. Along with this, pension portability is going to start soon. The government said that it was decided to make the YSR Pension Kanuka available to all who are eligible in the state.
