Visakhapatnam: The corona curfew imposed in the state in Andhra Pradesh on Monday has been extended till May 31 in view of rising cases of corona virus. This information was given by the CM Office. CMO said, the corona curfew imposed in Andhra Pradesh is being extended by the end of this month.

According to the CMO announcement, corona curfew lockdown will now remain in force in Andhra Pradesh till May 31. State that in view of the increasing number of cases of corona virus infection in Andhra Pradesh, it was imposed from 5th May to 18th May. Which has now been extended. A record 24,171 new corona cases were reported in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, while 101 patients lost their lives. The Health Department of Andhra Pradesh has issued a bulletin in this regard.

This is the second day in a week that more than 100 people have lost their lives due to corona virus infection. Over the past 24 hours, 21,101 people have recovered from the deadly infection. The state has so far tested 1.79 crore samples, while the total number of infected people has increased to 14,35,491 after new cases were reported. The rate of corona virus infection has increased to eight percent. In Andhra, 12,15,683 people have so far defeated the deadly virus, while 9,372 people have died of the epidemic.
