Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): The state government is busy forming new districts, which will be completed by January. With the formation of districts, some departments will be completely changed. In particular, there are major changes in the revenue and police departments. New revenue divisions need to be established. Police commissionerates are likely to be increased. AP police system will be hugely changed.

With the formation of new districts, the number of police commissioner offices is likely to triple. According to the information, seven police commissioner's offices will be set up. There are currently two police commissioner offices in the state, which are functioning in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. As well as police units are also being increased. Currently there are 18 police units in the state They are said to increase their number to 29. Srikakulam and Vizianagaram units will continue to be the same. Visakhapatnam unit is likely to be divided into three. The area of visakhapatnam city commissionerate is known as unit. Police units are likely to be newly formed as araku and Anakapalli centers. Rampachodavaram in East Godavari district, Rajahmundry Police Commissionerate, Kakinada Commissionerate and Amalapuram centers can be formed.

After the division of districts, new units will be set up at Bapatla and Ongole centers in Prakasam district. There are proposals to set up two units in West Godavari. They are said to be set up in Eluru and Narasapuram. Police units in Krishna district will continue to be maintained, and three units will be set up in Guntur district. Three police units will be set up in Tirupati and Chittoor districts, two each in Nellore, Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur districts.

The sp offices that are currently in circles will be transferred to the Commissioner's office. Kakinada Urban, Nellore Urban, Tirupati Urban, Rajamahendravaram Urban and Guntur Urban range will be increased to the commissionerate level. If you consider the existing Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam Commissionerates Their number increases to seven.

DGP Gautam Sawang issued orders on 10th of this month, with all districts and ranks halting police transfers at various levels. In the wake of the formation of new districts, transfers were banned. and internal transfers are also prohibited. Railway, CID, Intelligence and APSP have also been brought under it. The ban will continue until further orders are issued. There will be no transfer until new districts are formed.
