Visakhapatnam: A sudden fire broke out on Monday on a ship stationed in the Bay of Bengal at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The flames engulfed the entire ship. When the ship caught fire, 29 crew members were on board. After the fire, everyone jumped into the deep sea to save their lives.
The Indian Coast Guard, which reached the spot after receiving information, rescued 28 people while one is still reported to be missing. He is being searched. The fire broke out at 11:30 a.m. The ship, which caught fire at Visakhapatnam, is named after the offshore support Vessel Cossel Jaguar.
The ship is used to deliver logistics materials to large ships coming to sea. The fire broke out on Monday. Then all the crew members jumped into the sea to save their lives. The cause of the fire on the ship is yet to be revealed. Officials of the Indian Coast Guard are working to ascertain the cause of the fire and also search for a missing member.
