Visakhapatnam: A woman sub inspector in Andhra Pradesh has set a wonderful example of humanity. In fact, in the rural area of the state, no one was afraid to touch an abandoned body, at that time a lady sub-inspector not only carried the corpse on her shoulder and walked for two kilometers but also performed his last rites by herself.

Sub Inspector K. Sirisha posted in Kasibugga in Srikakulam district. Sirisha is being praised all around for what she did from routine duty. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Krishna Reddy also tweeted praising the humanitarian move of the young police officer. He said that taking a step ahead of official duty and assisting in funeral shows how deeply every police in our country keeps human values within themself. Actually, the unclaimed dead body was seen in a farm in Adavikothuru village under Palasa Kasibugga Municipality in Srikakulam district. But no one was daring to go to that dead body. Some people said that this person used to fill his stomach by demanding food from others. But where was he originally from, no one was with him.

Sub Inspector Sirisha got the information about the incident, so she reached the spot. There she saw that the funeral procession of the dead body was not done as all  were afraid to go to him. After seeing this, Srisha decided to cremate the corpse with the help of Lalitha Charitable Trust. Sirisha walked for two kilometers carrying the corpse on her shoulder and performed her last rites herself.
