In the case that came to light from Andhra Pradesh, a private school teacher was accused when he beat a student for not coming to school for four consecutive days. The incident was captured on camera and reportedly happened near Allipuram in Visakhapatnam.

By calling boyfriend behind the school, girlfriend played a dirty game

In a similar case in Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, a district court remanded a teacher to judicial custody for 14 days, when he allegedly slapped a student in class 168 times for not completing his homework. The incident took place at Jawahar Navodaya School in Thandla area of Jhabua district. Allegedly, the prosecution officer told Judge Jai Patidar that the accused teacher asked the girl's classmates to slap on both her cheeks for not completing their homework.

The victim was a Class VI student and could not go to school for 10 days due to illness. After that, when she returned to school, her homework was incomplete. The girl's father complained to the school management about the incident and later lodged a complaint with the police. On the basis of the complaint, the accused teacher was arrested by the police and produced before the court. Dismissing his bail application, the court remanded him to 14-days judicial custody.
