The West Indies have announced the squad for next month's T20 and ODI series with India. These teams will be led by all-rounder Kieron Pollard. Andre Russell and Chris Gayle will not play in this series. The series between the two teams will begin with a T20 match. The first T20 match will be played on 6 December. The West Indies team has just beaten Afghanistan in a Test match in Lucknow.

The West Indies head coach has said, 'We will play three matches in both formats. Therefore, we want our players to have full opportunity. Let me also make it clear that it will not be easy to compete with India. However, by saying so, I am not saying Afghanistan any less. On behalf of the West Indies Cricket Board, it has been said that Kieron Pollard will continue to take over the reins of the Caribbean team. Andre Russell is out of international cricket due to injury. Therefore, they will not be able to come to India. Chris Gayle has already made it clear that he will not play in the series against India.
