Akhil Akkineni's next thriller 'Agent,' according to reliable sources, would be a pan-India film. Akhil, who has been putting in a lot of attempts to improve his physique and appearance, will play a spy in this next film.

With this highly anticipated production, Akhil Akkineni, who recently participated in the film 'Most Eligible Bachelor,' hopes to get pan-India exposure. 'Agent,' directed by Surender Reddy, will include Malayalam actor Mammootty in one of the key roles. Sakshi Vaidya plays the female lead opposite Akhil Akkineni in the soon-to-be-released film.

The shooting schedule for the forthcoming season will begin in the second part of February. 'Agent,' which marks Akhil's first collaboration with filmmaker Surender Reddy, began filming in June and is set to wrap before the end of the year.
