Patna: Police in Bihar's Jehanabad have arrested eight persons linked to human trafficking. Three girls have also been rescued from their clutches . Jehanabad Superintendent of Police Deepak Ranjan, while disclosing the entire case, said that on February 7, Rita (name changed), a resident of Tehta, had left the house after being scolded by her father. The girl's mother had lodged a complaint at the Makhdoompur police station. When the police started the investigation, it was found that Rita had told her brother-in-law to stay in Haryana over the phone on May 16. 

The police then recovered Rita from Kaithal in Haryana. At the same time, Aman alias Vijay, who married her by paying some money, was arrested. According to the police, Aman had bought Rita from human traffickers for rs 1.6 lakh. According to the police, the Ajay Yadav gang of Bihar, along with other gangs, operates a big racket of human trafficking. Which runs from UP, Bihar and Haryana. These people take away the girls who have fled from the village in their trap and then sell them. These girls are kept unconscious after giving drugs for several months and then sold after getting the money and customers.

The police have taken action in this case and arrested a total of eight people. The accused have rescued three girls from the clutches. However, the arrested accused are currently being interrogated. During interrogation, the accused revealed that this network of human trafficking is run from the capital Patna. Police are conducting raids to get to the bottom of the entire case and the girls are in the process of handing them over to their families.
