Mumbai: Amid the fast-growing corona cases in the country, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has made a major disclosure in his statement. Anil Deshmukh has made a big disclosure about the black marketing of plasma in the state. He told that Plasma is being sold at Rs 10 lakh per liter, in the black market, active in Mumbai and surrounding areas.

Anil Deshmukh further added, they treat themselves as a patient of coronavirus and charge a huge amount from the needy for giving plasma. The state government has issued an inquiry order in this regard to Mumbai Police and Cyber Cell. Maharashtra government has also been alerted after the fraud in the name of plasma therapy in Delhi. The government has urged people that in such a situation, corona patients should be treated only in government-recognized hospitals where there is a facility of plasma therapy, corona patients were informed not to visit in unrecognized hospitals.

Recently the news of black marketing of Remedesivir, the most effective injection for corona in Maharashtra, was also reported. While Rajendra Shingane, Minister of Food and Drugs Department himself, conducted surprise inspections and conducted investigations at some medical stores in Mumbai. He himself had also accepted that there is a shortage of this medicine in the state. In order to supply this medicine in plenty in all hospitals, negotiations are on with all the companies that manufacture the drug and the process of purchasing has been started. Two men were arrested by the police in Nalasopara, adjoining Mumbai, while black-marketing of Remdesvir.
